Not unless the flight was exceptionally long. For an hour-or-so flight, it’s not worth the $30 price tag most airlines charge. I’d rather take a nap or read a magazine.
I did when they first brought it out and it was $9.99 and I got a code for a free session on my return flight. It was slow and sketchy. I wouldn’t pay again.
Depending on how long the flight is, how much they are charging for wifi and whether I’m bored (& want to read blogs or do Facebook or Twitter – lol) or busy with work that is time sensitive, yes, I would.

Not likely. The longer the flight the more likely I would. However it should be included in the ticket cost. Paying for luggage is one thing. It directly impacts fuel usage. Wifi cost for the airline is very minimal and the cost could be distributed across all ticket costs as a free service.
Never, This should be free as sometime this is not really needed with the type of the quality we get. The flight is already charging the customer for the ticket and not the service they provide, it should be free and good for the airlines to market.

I don’t fly but I think with the price of tickets it should be a free service. But if they don’t charge for WiFi they will probably charge a fee to carry on your laptop!

No I wouldn’t pay for WiFi while flying as I rarely get the opportunity to fly as it a luxury and expensive for our family. If we are fortunate to ever get the chance to fly we certainly can not afford any additional expenses added on. They should offer it for free. We already pay enough to fly!
